Knowledge Service Center (KSC) supports global businesses of the Bank with solutions requiring judgment application, sound business understanding and analytical perspective. The domain experience in the areas of Financial Research & Analysis, Quantitative Modeling, Risk Management and Prospecting Support provide solutions for revenue enhancement, risk mitigation and cost optimization. The division comprising of highly qualified associates operates from three locations i.e, Mumbai, Gurgaon & Hyderabad.
Bank of America Global Equities is a market leader in providing world-class service to a wide range of clients. Global Equities includes Institutional Derivatives Sales, Derivative and Convertible Trading, New Product Development, Equity Capital Markets, Institutional Equity Sales, Equity Trading, Electronic Trading Services, Prime Brokerage and OTC Trading. Global Equities provides marketing, structuring and trading of listed and customized equity products for it clients.
The Global Equities team works with the Equity Sales and Trading desks in the three of the four product lines of the bank’s business in AMRS, EMEA and APAC. The product lines include Equity Client Solutions (ECS) / Derivative Sales, Trading and Strategy; Equity Execution Services (EES) / Specialty Sales and Cash trading; Equity Synthetics & Securities Lending (ESSL) / Equity Swaps and Equity Asset Management Services (EAMS) / Equity Financing. The team helps the Sales & Traders in these product lines in their client strategy effort by identifying trends in single stocks, ETFs and indices.
The role will be to understand and to provide analytical support to the Equity Client Solutions / Derivatives Platform team. Ideal candidates will have a strong quantitative background and interest in financial markets. Knowledge of Derivative products like options is an advantage
With the guidance from EMEA based ECS Platform team, help to produce desk metrics on volumes, clients and pricing for senior management
Help update the MLICO Secured Issuance Database and create metrics for treasury and others on breakdown of MLICO outstanding portfolio – broken down into Funding and Non Funding Generative and product type
Provide metrics like Number of trades/volumes/hit rate/notional/CV/product type/trading desk/sales desk/client/booking errors/type of errors/number of booking amendments etc., for activity monitoring
Prepare reports on collateralization and other metrics related to Structured Notes issuances through MLICO
Prepare reports around analytics like client profitability, turnover etc.
Prepare reporting dashboards, sales/trade analytics and support on client balances, commissions etc., to keep LOBs informed about the business
Help the desk design and track key initiatives in terms of platform development, client strategy, market strategy etc.
Help in the preparation of Monthly Country Financials and Governance Packs
Compile and distribute material related to MiFID II guidelines to internal stakeholders
Own access management of key in-house tools and software like Cleversoft etc.
Own and streamline document management to make sure all important documents are updated and accessible at all time on tools like SharePoint/Shared Drives etc.
Post Graduate from a top Tier University with MBA, Mathematics or Finance related major degree (benchmark colleges like IIM-K, IIM-I, other similar B schools etc.) with strong quant background

0-2 year previous experience in Global Markets / Equities
Has knowledge of cash equities, equity swaps, and/or equity derivatives products
In depth knowledge of equity markets and lifecycle management processing of in scope products
Can work well under fast paced and under pressure environment
Strong in numbers, aggressive and proactive with a strong ability to manage time effectively
