Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers’ confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience. The team leads efforts that leverage data and digital advancements to improve service and risk management as well as enable commerce and drive innovation. Credit and Fraud Risk Capabilities team is responsible for collaborating with Risk Strategy teams to enable best-in-class risk management decisions across entire customer life cycle.
Purpose Of The Role
This role is expected to be to a critical enabler to deliver key metrics and insights to the senior CFR leadership as part of Bluelight team
Drive insights and analytics to support decision making for senior risk leadership
Manage end to end Big Data Integration processes for building key metrics from disparate source systems (including RDBMS, Hadoop and multi-dimensional cube ecosystems), with 100% accuracy and 100% on time delivery
Deliver strategic insights to key stakeholders using tools like Tableau
Drive automation initiatives within existing processes and fully optimize delivery effort and processing time
Contribute into evaluating and/or developing right tools, common components, and capabilities
Follow industry best agile practices to deliver on key priorities
Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability
Critical Factors To Success
Develop and deploy key risk metrics and strategies on proprietary Big Data and Cloud environment using big data tools and framework
Strong analytical, data exploration and data analytics skills with proficiency in SQL & Hive
Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role’s agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders
Lead with an external perspective, challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or related streams. Exposure to driving insights and analytics is an added advantage
Top tier engineering colleges
Overall 1-3 years of experience including at least 2 years of relevant experience in data exploration, data analytics skills with proficiency in SQL, Hive and Python
Stakeholder management with the ability to work with business partners across different value streams and geographies to groom and finalize requirements and come up with a working solution
Problem solving mindset with the ability to come up with efficient working solutions quick
Good written as well as verbal communication skills
Demonstrable experience on Business intelligence and visualization tools is good to have.
Knowledge of existing Risk applications in AXP OR hands-on experience on the Cornerstone platform would be a plus.
Strong Hive, SQL skills with knowledge of Hadoop Ecosystem
Knowledge of Big data and related technologies
Data Analytical Language (SAS, Python, R)
Exposure to projects driving insights and analytics is an added advantage
Experience in Tableau and Microsoft SSIS / SSAS is an added advantage
Python / PySpark – Nice to have
