Global Capability Centers(GCCs) are at an inflection point as the pace at which AI & Digital technologies is changing every aspect is exponential and at high velocity. Amit Kalra is a Managing Director at Swiss Re group, currently leading the group’s Global in-house Capability Centre in Bangalore, with over 1400 employees working across the entire re/insurance value chain. As the head of this business, analytics and operations hub of Swiss Re global group, Amit is responsible, along with his counterparts, to help accelerate Swiss Re’s competitiveness in the market by excelling in core business capabilities and enabling transformation through R&D-focused initiatives, innovation and differentiation.

Amit joined Swiss Re in 2007 and went on to establish and head the Economic Research & Consulting India team. He later took on leadership role for analytics and non-life actuarial teams. In the previous role, he was the Head of Strategic Initiatives Bangalore, where he was responsible for growth, strategy and capability build-up initiatives.

Amit is the author of several global studies published under Swiss Re’s sigma publications on trends in emerging markets, covering topics such as food security, micro insurance, and urbanization. He also led the global Swiss Re startup initiative, InsurTech Accelerator, which curated innovative ideas and solutions in the re/insurance sector in collaboration with startups.

Prior to joining Swiss Re, Amit led the Strategic Research Group for GE Insurance solutions at GE Capital.Amit is an executive member of NASSCOM national GCC Council and chair of NASSCOM Karnataka GCC council. He is also President South Chapter of Swiss India Chambers of Commerce. 

Anshu is a technology leader with over 23 years of experience with premier investment banks and technology firms including Goldman Sachs, AIG; developing product, solutions, and leading global strategic programs. She has been recognized as one of the top 10 influential data science leaders in 2017 by Analytics India Magazine.

Anshu co-authored a white paper along with Manipal Global Education, a leading education provider in India to develop custom education programs to skill and re-skill young talent towards digital technologies.

Manas is an AI evangelist, business builder, and entrepreneur at heart. As the CEO of Affine, Manas is responsible for promoting client-first culture and ensuring Affine’s sustainable growth through driving strategic, transformative, and impact-driven AI capabilities & solutions for global enterprises. 

 He works closely with CXO’s, from the largest gaming companies to the most reputed luxury car makers, manufacturing giants, and global technology behemoths, helping them define and execute transformation mandates, leveraging the trifecta of AI, Data-Engineering & Cloud. 

 With two decades of experience in the AI & Analytics arena, Manas is enabling enterprises to successfully traverse from concept to transformation on their AI maturity journey. NIDHI PRATAPNENI
SVP, Analytics & Modelling, Wells Fargo

Nidhi Pratapneni is a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo India and heads their Knowledge Services organization. Nidhi grew up in India and moved across multiple cities, built her early career in the US, witnessed the dotcom boom and bust and the sub-prime crisis at close quarters.

She has had varied career experiences over a span of 20 years and has played roles spanning operations, strategy and talent development in the retail and analytics domains. She has a passion for driving customer-centricity in all her initiatives, be it the end customer for the business or the internal stakeholder/customer within the organization.

Nidhi began her career with McKinsey & Co. in India, then moving on to Chemoil, Personify and Safeway in California, USA. Once she moved back to India, her retail and consulting background paved a path to leadership of the team dedicated to Tesco International at dunnhumby in Gurgaon. During her years at Dell, she led the customer service analytics team, as well as a global team of social media specialists focused on enhancing customer resolution and experience via social channels. Her most recent engagement, prior to joining Wells Fargo, was as head of HR for Antuit, a Goldman Sachs backed start-up in the analytics space.

Deepak is Vice President, Global Customer Advisory at SAS. In his role, Deepak advises organizations who are investing in AI and machine learning projects with an objective of new business models and revenue streams. These conversations have moved  from the data science backrooms to boardrooms.

For over two decades Deepak has had the privilege to lead the smartest data scientists across the globe as they unlock the value of analytics for our clients. Together, we have guided clients on creating and measuring analytics-driven business outcomes.
